Locked in a bathroom 🚽

We had a great casual lunch at Au Gascon.

But after I ordered I went to the bathroom, and upon trying to exit, the bathroom door handle broke. After pounding on the door a couple of times, the staff started to disassemble the door. I was able to help them from the inside by using a spoon they slid under the door to apply some resistance to loose screws. After 5 minutes I was back in the restaurant.

We had gésier (gizzard) salads. I had the duck confit and Darren had the saucisse de Toulouse. Our menu of the day (€21 each) included homemade dessert.Read more
