    Visited the Kunozan shrine dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, who won control of Japan in 1603. His Edo government under the rule of his grandson closed the country and stayed in power until 1868. From the shrine I went to Mishima for lunch at one of the best, if not THE best, grilled eel (unagi) restaurants in Japan.
