    Ford's Greenfield Village

    September 19, 2017 in Canada ⋅ ☁️ 20 °C

We spent most of the day in Greenfield Village visiting areas we missed last time we were here. There really is more than you can see in one day. There was occasional light rain during the day and there were no crowds. The exhibit personnel were able to spend lots of time with us answering our questions. Great lunch at Eagle's Tavern and rides on a 1913 Carousel, 1927 Model T Touring, 1930 AA Bus, horse drawn bus and a recently restored coal fired locomotive.
We finished our day in Dearborn with a stop at Edsel and Eleanor's mansion on Shoreline Drive. We arrived too late for the last tour but they let us drive in and take some photos. Great staff at all the attractions we visited today. We finished the day by driving north to Salania, just across the border, in Canada.
