About 12 miles from Bar Harbor lies Bass Harbor's Light Station. This lighthouse has the distinction of being the most photographed lighthouse in Maine. The lighthouse is still in operation and the residence attached to it is occupied by an active Coast Guard member.

It also displays about 100 early autos and motorcycles. The displays of the autos and the yarn of the debate made for an interesting stop.
We had a late lunch at Bar Harbor Inn and then some maintenance on the car filled the rest of the afternoon. Checked and topped the lube in the differential and overdrive. Greased the chassis and adjusted the brake wedges a couple clicks.
