We made it!

We finally rolled into the Grand Ole Opry RV Resort in Goodlettsville, TN—after what felt like a cross between Survivor: Highway Edition and a never-ending episode of Construction Zone Chronicles. Tennessee really went all-in on detours and fender benders today!

Jack (our cat and unofficial travel mascot) was a total champ—no barfing, no dramatic yowling. He was cool as a cucumber… until we parked. Then he suddenly knew we’d arrived and turned into a furry little diva demanding his dinner like we were his personal room service staff.

We had a lovely dinner with our son, Jake and Don practically sprinted into the house like it was Christmas morning—because it was… if Santa delivered exclusively via Amazon. I think he hugged the boxes before he hugged our kid.Læs mere
