Day 3. Branford to Clinton

And we're in. Not as much to do on the route today, but the scenery was really pretty. Lots of colonial era buildings in the cute little towns we went through. Listened to a few podcasts (Planet Money) and some music (free trial of Apple Music) along the way. Started out in pouring rain, which meant we got to pull out the raincoats. Sadly, the coat is plenty big enough to cover the full pack and the sides of the person holding it, but not also the front of that person. Rain didn't last long, though. We've been a bit ahead of schedule, so tomorrow we'll carve out time to visit a laundromat and only have 10 miles planned. Today's Motel (Clinton Motel) is perfectly nice, and we've found the Red Sox game on TV, so we're settled.Read more
