Honningsvåg + Nordkap

Honningsvåg ist ein kleines Städchen mit Charme! Außer den Supermärkten schließt alles zwischen 14:00-16:00 Uhr. Sobald es dunkel wird, spielt sich das Leben eher zu Hause ab, selbst einige der Restaurants haben nur bis 20-21 Uhr geöffnet. Es gibt jedoch ein Pub, dort brauen sie auch selbst! Hier ist am Wochenende richtig was los 🪩. Auf der Fahrt nach Honningsvåg hatten wir viel Wind und Schneeverwehungen. Zum Glück mussten keine Straßen gesperrt werden 🙏.
Am nächsten Tag war der Wind deutlich weniger und wir haben uns zum Ziel gesetzt, die letzten 30 km zum Nordkapp zu fahren.
Nachdem wir in der Bäckerei die Info bekommen haben, dass der Bus wohl nicht fährt, machten wir uns wieder mit dem Auto auf den Weg.
Kurz bevor wir losfuhren, sahen wir am Hafen noch ein Touristenschiff einfahren und fragten uns und waren uns sehr sicher, dass auch diese zum Nordkapp wollen.
Der Weg zum Nordkapp war hell, mit hohen Schneewänden. Als wir ankamen, waren nur wenige Menschen da, somit hatten wir genug Zeit und Platz, um alles zu erkunden. 20-30 Minuten später trafen sie ein: Drei große Busse und ein kleiner, und innerhalb kürzester Zeit war das Nordkapp voller Menschen -> zum Glück waren wir früher da 🍀.
Bei einem Spaziergang am Hafen hatten wir etwas im Wasser planschen gehört und schauten genauer hin. Da schwamm ein Otter 🦦. Er kam auch aus dem Wasser und kam auf dem Pier etwas näher zu uns 😍.
Honningsvåg war bisher die kleinste norwegische Stadt, die wir besuchten, sie gefiel uns beiden sehr und wir sind sicher, hier waren wir nicht das letzte Mal 🩷.

//Honningsvåg is a charming little town! Apart from the supermarkets, everything closes between 2:00 and 4:00 PM. As soon as it gets dark, life takes place more at home, even some of the restaurants are only open until 8:00 or 9:00 PM. However, there is a pub where they brew their own beer! There's a lot going on here at the weekend 🪩. On the way to Honningsvåg we had a lot of wind and snowdrifts. Luckily no roads had to be closed 🙏.
The next day the wind was much less and we set ourselves the goal of driving the last 30 km to the North Cape.
After we got the info in the bakery that the bus probably wasn't running, we set off again by car.
Shortly before we left, we saw a tourist ship entering the harbour and wondered and were very sure that they also wanted to go to the North Cape.
The way to the North Cape was bright, with high snow walls. When we arrived, there were only a few people there, so we had enough time and space to explore everything. 20-30 minutes later they arrived: three big buses and a small one, and within a very short time the North Cape was flooded with people -> luckily we were there earlier 🍀.
During a walk at the harbour we had heard something splashing in the water and took a closer look. There swam an otter 🦦. He also came out of the water and came a little closer to us on the pier 😍.
Honningsvåg was the smallest Norwegian town we have visited so far, we both liked it very much and we are sure we will be back 🩷.Läs mer
