St. Michael's Mount

With history and legends of mermaids and apparitions of St. Michael, dating back to 495AD this castle and the surrounding gardens were a must see! During low tide you can walk across the causeway to the island, but today's visit was during high tide so luckily there are ferry boats available to shuttle us back and forth.
