Fort Myers for a month

So this park has 900 spots!!
But Storm Ian in 2022 destroyed this place!! The picture above that shows our spot is inaccurate.
It’s kind of a ghost town. Most small mobile homes that were left are still be re constructed. Some got lifted up and others got replaced. The activity center up front is STILL under construction 😱. Showers and restrooms are portables. No laundry facilities available!!!
Wow!! We had no idea and the park gave us no indication !!!
Oh well. We like the expansive empty streets
Lots of bike use here.
All outside activities are in good shape. Pool, pickleball, horseshoes, volleyball, shuffleboard, bocce…..
2 nice ponds to sit around. Great weather 70-80s.Read more
