    Dr Brown came in at 10:20 and said everything went perfectly. No problem with urethra, no problem with bladder, no problem with testis. They closed the scrotal sack. Chris was really saved by his bike shorts. Otherwise dirt grit germs, etc would have gotten into the tear. Disaster!
    They irrigated everything for several minutes and said everything looks so clean that they did not use a drain.
    He must go in for a wound check in about 2 weeks unless he notices any warmth, redness or pus. Then he should seek medical attention immediately.
    We need to schedule with a GP or urologist.
    I think the surgery took over 3 hours. He is expected to sleep another hour. The doctor suggested I go home.
    Joan, the nursing assistant has been wonderful.
