Cardwell

We left Townsville and had a 2hr drive. We did stop off for icecream at the Frosty Mango. We were going to do some fishing in Cardwell and go to some pools but it rained most of the time we were there. We did walk along the jetty where we were going to fish. We visited the Coral Sea Battle Memorial Park. It is amazing to think 3 ships were sunk and not all by enemy fire. The night of the lunar eclipse we had dinner outside at the Beachcomber Restaurant. Beautiful view with great food and yummy cocktail. We also visited the Bush Telegraph and PO Museum. The original building that was a kit brought over from England in 1870 survived both cyclone Yasi and Larry with minimal damage.Okumaya devam et
