Gila River, Riverview Campground

The Gila (pronounced Heela) River is a big deal down here and provides water for southern Arizona. What a treat to find a water source we could actually swim in (and we did). This NW gal really misses the water). Moose has been in the river many times in the short time we’ve been here. The Riverview campground fee is a few dollar a night but free to right now because they are upgrading the camp sites.Læs mere
