Hiking The Valley of Fire, Nevada

It has been unseasonably cold and windy in the Southwest. We can seem to escape it. Our friends Ron and Alida headed north and we headed to Valley of Fire outside of Las Vegas. The last time I was here was shortly after my mom died; I brought my dad and Yury here for an outing. Yury was 3 1/2 and he loved climbing all over these remarkable rocks.
