Pyramid Ridge CG, Cedar City Utah

Our choices seemed to be dust storm or snow storm. We opted for the snow storm, dah! We sheltered in place at a dry BLM campground just outside Cedar City Utah. We arrived here a day before the weather arrived which was nice; we had time to get gas, groceries, do laundry, fill the propane tank and find the all important donut shop. We won’t talk about the fact that I didn’t actually get to eat the donuts (Moose!). Twenty four hours after we arrived the storm arrived. We woke up to a nice covering of beautiful dry powder. We went for a short hike and played in the snow. It snowed on and off during the day but by the next day we had blue sky and so of course the snow was disappearing and we were able to get back on the road.Læs mere
