Valley of the Gods

The bad weather (clouds and wind) continued as I entered Valley of the Gods. My gosh though this place is stunning. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful. It is said to be a free, smaller and less travelled version of Monument Valley, which is often full of people and costs $20 to enter. I would have gone to Monument Valley as well but it was snowing when I was driving through so I passed it by. While at Valley of the Gods I was still under the weather which was fine because with 40 mph winds I wasn’t going out to do much of anything except snap a picture. Even Moose hunkered down. It’s quite an experience to be in a van with high winds like that. I’m just saying. The weather did provide some unique photographic opportunities though.Læs mere
