Cirencester to Fowey

A 3 hour drive to Fowey yesterday, ended with Craig navigating THE narrowest and busiest streets known to man - The Flow was not so flow then let me tell you (that being said, he was still more flow than we Webbs have ever been)!

Our hotel, The Old Quay House, is beautiful. We have a (small) balcony overlooking the estuary. We spent the afternoon exploring after a small cider pit stop, which finished with a walk to Readymoney beach and St. Catherine's Castle. Craig went even went for a swim, I do have video evidence but it took him too long to get in so the video won't upload!

We then had a (drum roll please) 5 course meal with champagne in our hotel. The food was beautiful! Although we were a little bit tipsy to worry about posh etiquette, we laughed a lot!

We are planning a beach day today, let's hope it is a little less busy than yesterday - the thunderstorms in the forecast might keep people away although "Craig The Flow Schafernacker" assures me that they won't be arriving in fowey, let's hope he is right!Læs mere
