Amazon Tupana Jungle Lodge

Um 7 Uhr ging es heute los vom Hotel zur Lodge, 170 km von Manaus am Fluss Tupala. Mit und acht weitere Gäste, mit denen wir mit dem Minibus zum Hafen fuhren, um von dort mit dem Schnellboot den Amazonas zu überqueren. Bei der Überquerung konnten wir sehen, wo sich der River Negro und der Amazonas treffen. Danach kam eine weitere 3-stündige Bustour, gefolgt von einer kurzen Bootstour
ins "o paraiso é aqui!". Wie wahr!

A nice and early 7am pick up from our hotel in Manaus to get to the lodge app. 170km away from Manaus at the River Tupana. With us another eight people. We travelled by bus to the port, got the speed boat to the other side of the Amazon river, where we saw the River Negro (obviously black water) meeting the River Amazon (yellowish). Then another app. 3h bus travel followed by a 15 minute boat trip to "o paraiso é aqui!"
