Driftwood

So whilst visiting the open air farmhouse museum yesterday I was admiring the beautiful wooden ceiling beams and the crafted walls.
I asked the person in attendance “ why type of wood are these massive beams??”. I was astonished by her reply.....”driftwood”!!!!!
Kate and I managed not to fall about laughing until we were outside when we wondered what type of leaves the Driftwood trees have and how they grow so massive to make solid 12 ft long beams!! Czytaj więcej
