St Issac Cathedral colonnade

After jumping off the bus at St Issac Cathedral I had to drag K away from the pumpkin horse drawn carriages- she is such a romantic!!
Instead we got 2 tickets and climbed the 200+ steps to the view point.
We had amazing views over the city but often had to wait whilst Russian’s posed like models for 100 photos before they were satisfied with their insta- worthy pics.
Just to make sure we didn’t stay up there too long they started ringing the bells!!
Down we climbed and finally headed for some food - now 4pm before hitting the Faberge MuseumEn savoir plus
