Russian Museum

After a breakfast of porridge ( trying to keep energy up for a planned v long day) we set off for a 40 min walk to the train station.
A v lovely ticket lady kindly sorted our train tickets to Moscow for Saturday- the Russians we have met so far har been super helpful and lovely with it- although she did keep our handwritten Russian note kindly written by the girl on reception asking for the correct train!
Tickets in hand we set off for the Russian museum- an entree to the main course planned for later - The Hermitage.
After walking through the cloakroom x 6 we finally enjoyed 2 hours of the most incredible ( or so we thought at the time) Russian art and decorations interspersed with av nice lunch in the cafe. It was less of a museum and more of an art collection which we thoroughly enjoyed.Leer más
