Yekaterinburg- accommodation and town

What a day??!!! We left our accommodation which actually looked more dodgy today than last night!
We walked 20 mins to town which improved immensely the further away from the apartment we got.
First stop The Church upon the Blood and the Romanov death site where Tsar Nicholas II and his family were murdered by the Bolsheviks in 1918.
We then found a great coffee shop and a mall where K treated herself to a new waterproof jacket after discovering in the Faroes the current one didn’t work.
Next random event happened when we stumbled across a Ural Festival in a Park... more to come on this including videos!
Off to the info centre where a v helpful girl gave us a free city map and a book before we made our way to the highlight of the day.... a visit to the Gem and Lapidary Museum.... also accompanied with video !!Read more
