Coffee at the beach & a jaffa cake first

Woke up to a stunningly sunny but frosty morning so we headed to Gyllyngvase beach for a coffee.
Luckily we got a table with the best view of the sea, which was completely calm, and Pendennis Castle.
After coffee we walked along the coastal path to Swanpool beach and back “home”.
An old colleague from Nelson, Jean ( who now lives in Penzance) came for lunch so we had a lovely few hours catching up ( sadly no photos as the team photographer is having a rest).
Tonight the day was capped off by K having her first McVities Jaffa cake which it looks like she enjoyed!!Read more
