Venice - Monday

After 2 cancellations of booked tours (Napoli & Bolzano), today we finally managed to join a 3 hour tour called "Do Eat Better Experience - Venice". Olympia was our Guide and there were 8 participants - 3 Aussies, 2 Americans & 3 Norwegians.
Olympia took us to 5 venues where we sampled various foods and wines. By the time the 3 hours was up, none of us wanted to leave, we were all having so much fun! Just wished we did the tour soon after arriving in Venice - we would have definitely returned to some of the restaurants!
Back to the Hotel for a much needed siesta before going to buy our water bus tickets to the Airport tomorrow morning.
We then started packing ready for our flights home. Tomorrow we fly to Roma and then on 26th we begin the journey back Down Under!
So our holiday in Croatia & Italy is now essentially over. It has certainly been the trip of a lifetime and one that we know we will never be able to emulate in the future. We are very happy to be returning home and feel very much at peace doing so.Baca lagi
