Muiderberg - Koudum

An early start as we had a ferry deadline for the last ferry of the day. Skirted Amsterdam on busy cycle tracks before heading up the West side of the IJsselmeer, via Edam.

Really varied landscapes, towns and villages with never too far between. Lots of riding on the dyke by IJseelmeer with great views across the water.

Had a lunch of eel and herring rolls to add to the Dutch experience.

Rode through Edam which was beautiful and surprisingly unspoiled.

Crossed the IJsselmeer into Friesland on the Enkhuizen -Stavoren ferry and rode on to KoudumLeer más
