Schinnen (NL) - Liège (BE)

Well that changed abruptly. After a great evening on a perfect campsite, we were both woken up by nausea then sickness. In the morning we were quite weak, but decided to push on as it was a relatively short day, though with a few climbs,

Seriously, it was limp mode.

Passing from NL into BE the transition was surprisingly abrupt towards lower quality cycle paths and surfaces, always the continental respect for cyclists, but not so much protection from infrastructure.

We knew our entrance to Liège would be gritty - it really was through an extended barge loading area. Eventually I punctured and sorted it out under a motorway bridge.

Finally, still unwell, a climb to where we were staying.
