Namur (Rest Day)

We had a chilled day wandering around Namur, still recovering a little from our little bout of illness and very much still drying out! All mixed in with a few jobs on the bikes.

Namur is a great place. Understated, not touristy, very young, very relaxed. A beautiful mix of historic, new, run down and very modernist - all very much not sanitised. As ever when cycle touring not enough time for ticking off sights and museums though we’d to come back and do this here.

Though I can speak a few words of Dutch courtesy of a great couple of years going Languages For All at York, it is great to be back in a French-speaking area where we can get by easier.

On the road again tomorrow…
