Overnight in Kimba

Left home early and headed to Laura and Dylan's place to hook up the van.
All went well and we pulled out of their place about 8:45am, not as early as Rob had planned but we are on holidays so...
Headed to Port Pirie to drop in on Rob's dad and Maggie for an early lunch.
Left Port Pirie and headed to Kimba.
After plenty of roadworks and what we hope was arranged for us by our friend Nigel (see pic) our escort helped to get us through the road works and we arrived in Kimba mid afternoon. We stopped to take a pic of the big Galah which is at the "Half way across Australia point" before checking into the caravan Park just out of the town for the night.
Told to choose our own spot, we chose a drive thru site.
Wanting to stretch our legs after a day in the car, we walked back into the town to check out the silo art, which was amazing.Read more
