    After a quick tour thru the colonial zone at our day of arrival in Santo Domingo, the second day started with the must sees outside the colonial zone.
    First stop 'Parque Nacional Los Tres Ojos'. A big limestone cave existing since the melting of the last ice age. The 'Taino' people (indigenous of Hispaniola) used these caves for religious rituals.

    Between our next stop and the 'Tres Ojos' there's a big park. With an amphitheater, national Tennis court, .... We were not allowed to walk there because of robbery.

    Our next stop was curious one. The outside looked like a mixture of UDSSR architecture, mixed with NS architecture and an old Mayan pyramid. In the inside there was (at least that's what people there telling you) box containing the remains of Christopher Columbus.
