Chichicastenango Market

Chichicastenango is home to one of the oldest outdoor markets in Guatemala.
Once we entered the packed market we found ourselves surrounded by uncountable stalls selling colourful textiles, wooden handcrafts, fruits and food.

A tumultuous symphony of colours and costumes, smoke and smells in which we found our souvenir.

Located in Guatemala’s Western Highlands also the bus ride along mountain roads was a highlight.Read more
