Isla Perro Grande

The big dog island is one of the islands you can visit but can't sleep on. This island is surrounded by many others so the water in between the islands is calm and perfect for sailing boats to throw their anchor.

For us it felt weird to see the historical flag of Guna Yala. A Spanish flag with a swastika on it. The swastika should be a symbol for an octopus that according to legend formed the world.Read more
