Moules in Brussels

Decided to sample mussels in a few places as our dinner! First were absolutely yummy on Rue de Bouchard (food street) which R and I had enjoyed so many years ago- a little more run down than then but the mussels were still incredible.

Then Mike had found "chez Leon" which were equally divine, tried some "escargot" style and then I ordered some sea snails (whelks) which I had loved in Paris. These were dreadful!! Big, chewy, gummy yukinesss!! All braved it and tried one or two and that was enough!!Read more
