Today was mostly spent in the truck travelling through two borders leaving Argentina and entering into Chile. Long day of driving but had a lovely suprise visit to see the penguins

Glacier hiking

Started the day with a beautiful hike and visited Perito Moreno Glacier. Had a picnic with a Glacier view and finished the day with a boat trip to get an even closer view 😍 pure beauty. In theWeiterlesen

Last day in El Calafate and enjoyed a bike ride around the lake. Also enjoyed a great meal in the evening

Day 1 of the W-walk. We went on a catamaran to Paine Grande & hiked towards glacier grey for 12k. Stoped for a cheeky kayak to see the Glacier and drink ginger tea then hiked back for another 12k.

Day 3 of the W-trek: a trek along Lake Nordenskjold to Valley Ascendo, another 17k ❤️😍 probably the toughest day so far as I carried my 12kilo bag the entire way 🤟

Day 4 was a beautiful stunning day. We were very lucky with the weather. It was a trek to the three towers in 24k giving a total of 82k over 4 days.

Off to Bush camp in Rio Pinturas for a spot of wild camping in the canyon. On route we stopped at the cave of hands, all painting are between 3000 and 9000 years old.

Today we headed to Queluat National park and had a little hike around the hanging glacier. We camped by the Chilean fjords and had some chill time in the evening.

Today we crossed the border back into Chile. We took a scenic route via Ruta de Los Siete Lagos- the seven lakes route. We headed to a lovely family run hostel with a home cooked meal
