Hindeloopen

Hindeloopen is city in the north of the Netherlands. Situated on the banks of IJsselmeer a large freshwater lake now cut off from the sea. Since the 13th century ships captains sailed to North Sea and Baltic coasts. Famous for its Hindloopen art & culture. In the church cemetery are several common wealth war graves.
