Boo hoo 😢 - last morning.
Crazy windy night although we did wake with blue skies.
Used the hairdryer trick to try to warm the room up.
Started to pack up- we were very excited at one point as Derry posted from their cabin next door that they had seen a jaguar - wow 😮 🧐😂.
Hmmm 🤔 🤨
Breakfast was served by Cindy our host, with the view over San Jose being pretty special.
Freya and I went for the traditional Gallo pinto with platanos and huevos fritos for the last time.
Trip to airport was an hour with a final fuel ⛽️ fill up.
Easy handover with the car hire guy- got our $20 dollars back for the puncture repair too.
As airports go San Jose isn’t bad- pretty views of the surrounding Volcanos 🌋
First flight to Newark left on time- 2pm
Bye bye wonderful Costa Rica 🇨🇷
Bit of a rush through Newark airport as annoyingly we had to get our bags and re-check them in. Luckily no queues. Boarded our Heathrow flight on time, and brilliantly as the flight wasn’t full and with the help of a lovely English flight attendant were able to move to seats that were quieter and actually had more leg room 👍😀
Next stop a wet London with views of Windsor castle.
Varying amount of sleep for all- landed 10ish at a cold 🥶 Heathrow.
Uber to Walton and then bye bye.
