Arrived to first day of rain thunder lightning. No walk. In morning walked beach then trig walk 40mins up. Move to Haast.

Stayed at Merino shop 2 nights with 5 others. Road cycle track to beach and back by road. Met Linda + Grant Bolt spraying weeds. Dinner at their place.

Stayed 2 nights at campground. Bike to shop. Happy hour drinks with Laura and Billy. Walked Rob Roy glacier walk. 10km. Met Franzi for dinner.

Parked at Te Anau campsite night before start of walk next day. Did sea plane ride around Lake in afternoon. Bus to Te Anau down's to catch boat to Glade walk. 1.6km to Glade Lodge then 1 1/2hr natureWeiterlesen

Drove down to Dunedin holiday park. Caught free bus to Stadium to see Rod Stewart with Jon Stevens and Cyndi Lauper.
Next day cold. Drive to Albatross sanctuary and only saw them way out.

Stayed here 2 night. Did bush walk around camp and Nugget point lighthouse and penguin beach next day. Didn't see penguins but saw falcon flying above us.
Curio Bay

Stayed 1 night looking between bay and sea. Petrified wood on rocks 1 side and beach where hector dolphins swim on other.

Stayed 3 nights at Johan and Joyce's. Day 3 did jet boat ride across Lake Hauroko and down Wairaurahiri River to sea. Lunch at Waitutu Lodge.

Drove to Mortal tge way of rail trail. Coffee at Ranfurly. Saying at camp. Drove to see Boulders then walk around headlands and saw several sea lions.
