First day at Hampi

We reached Hospete in the morning at 5 am. After reaching we took an auto and reached Hampi at around 6 am. Our room check in was at 9:30 am so we decided to hike Matanga hill in the morning. After coming from the hill we did our breakfast at a local shop and then we checked in the room and slept like babies. At 2 pm we went to Hemkuta hills and visited nearby sites. There was a little rain so we could not see the Sunset . We had our dinner and went to the room to sleep . Tomorrow we are going to Virupaksha temple in the morning. In the morning I visited the Virupaksha temple and there for the first time I saw the Elephant Lakshmi inside the temple. It was fun watching her rhyming to the temple music , I didn't click a picture because I was so involved in watching her. Then we did our breakfast, Hampi people are so humble and polite I have never seen such polite people in my life. We came to our room and rested for a while. I booked a scooty meanwhile and at 11 am went to pick up the scooty. After receiving the scooty, we went to the Hippie Island side to visit Anjanadari hill which is said to be the birth place of Hanuman. That hill is a tough one, it consisted of 500 steps to reach the top. I was perspirated a lot . After the temple we went to visit Pampa Sarowar and then Sanapur lake. Sanapur lake was quite huge compared to all the lakes I have seen in my life. After all these places we came back to the temple side and had dinner. There we met a Japanese girl Miyu we had long conversations on many topics for 3 hours. After that we came to the room and currently I am writing this. Tomorrow will be the last day in Hampi, there are still some sites left . Let's see how more surprises are left in this land for us 🤩Read more

We started our day by taking Miyu to the temple to visit Lakshmi the elephant, there we took the blessings of the Elephant. It was fun . We had our breakfast and said goodbye to Miyu and then we came to the room to take some things and started exploring the remaining ruins of Hampi. We explored the Elephant stables , Queen's bath , secret chambers and Vitthala temple at the end. After coming to the room we went to the market to do some shopping and then we came for dinner and there we met again with Miyu and one other companion of hers. We did the dinner and booked an auto for the bus stand . The trip was great, I felt the peace which that city provides, people were very friendlier . The food was great, the stories we got to listen to made me to be more humble in my life. I loved Hampi 💕Read more
