Everything delayed today and missed the connection to LA so now we’re stuck in Houston TX.

After years of wanting to come here and 24hrs of drama I finally landed and my plan of avoiding the notoriously crap customs on entry at LAX worked perfectly.

Arts District LA

Walked the streets and wandered into warehouses/galleries. Found some amazing art and artists.
The area is smaller than expected though.
Welcome to Las Vegas

Got in a FlixBus from LA and 5hr later I’m here. The scenery was absolutely stunning and I would happily do the drive again but probably not in a FlixBus.

Well not quite. The strip is too long and has too many distractions along the way. So much too see and not enough working escalators on the traffic bridges.

Landed at 10:30pm and felt the chill immediately when leaving the plane. I didn’t know what to expect of this place but for some reason I had a good feeling as we drove to the hotel.

World Trade Center Memorial

Guggenhiem

Had to see the Guggenheim but left being disappointed by a lack of artwork. Not worth the $25 entry at all.
