Iceland 4

Hired a car. Went hiking up Mt Esja. The top was in clouds.
Went swimming at a large public hot springs thermal pool in town, near our house. In Iceland there is compulsory NUDE communal showering before you are allowed in the pool. I’m serious about the COMPULSORY part! There is even a “guard/hygiene compliance officer/NUDE inspector” there. We got roused on for not being NUDE enough in the communal showers so we had to go back (walk of shame!) and re-shower in the NUDE!
THEN, the same security guy was there to make sure we were fully dry (and NUDE) before being allowed BACK into the change rooms so we could change into dry clothes to leave!!!!
