Bye bye Lil' Guillermo & Going Home

After a long wait at the notary, the sale was final and our trusty van, Guillermo, headed off with its new owner, our new friend Scott, who's starting his own adventure.

Now officially homeless, we decided to treat ourselves to a fancy hotel on our final night in Santiago, where we of course sampled some of the fancy cocktails on offer!

The flight home was uneventful, but required a pit stop in Bogotá for one last visit to the traditional Colombian bakeries, home to very bountiful portions of baked goods. Rosie had a window seat, from which she was able to see some of the places we visited along the way, such as Lake Titicaca!
