Stokknes & Vestrahorn

Late afternoon had us heading towards Hofn to visit Vestrahorn (the Batman mountain). We stopped in at the Viking Cafe and had our first real coffee in Iceland and paid $25 to get access to the beach viewpoint. Unfortunately today, we had our first experience with normal Icelandic weather. The clouds, rain and wind set in making driving difficult and obscuring much of the scenery. We were lucky that the cloud receded and the rain stopped for us to be able to get some late afternoon photo's.Læs mere
