Woomera

Woomera seemed like a ghost town whilst we were there. There was no one on the streets. The only place that was open was the information centre.
The information centre is home to the free Woomera Heritage Centre and the Interactive Rocket Range Museum. This provided an excellent history (both visual and interactive) of Woomera's beginnings as a missile research centre and continued activities in space and aeronautics.Leggi altro
