Glenalva Fossicking

Today, we took a tag-along tour to go sapphire fossicking. Keith handed us a pick and shovel, showing us where and what to dig and how to wash and pick out sapphires. After 3 hours, we left the fossicking site with 2 sapphires that we are getting cut and polished. We found another couple that were quite large but unfortunately had cracks through them (if not, they would have been worth $1000) and numerous little gems.Leer más
