Wunaamin CP - Bell Gorge

From our caving adventure we continued for around 2 hours (60 km) down a very corrugated road towards the Gibb River Road. Just before we turned onto the Gibb River Road, Graham noticed a new noise and we found that the bolts through the maxi-trax had sheared off, with them dragging on the ground. Thankfully, most of the Gibb River Road was an improvement but we still had around 120 km of travel Eastward to get to our campsite. We arrived after dark and enjoyed leftovers and fell into bed.
Next morning, we were up early to hike to Bell Gorge. It's amazing how you can walk through an area that is so hot and dry and suddenly you emerge into an oasis.Read more
