Dampier

We pulled into a wonderful council run campground to enjoy some air-conditioning in Dampier.
After all our off-road travel we could rename our home the Red Explorer - some cleaning was necessary. Graham took care of the outside while I worked inside.
Nearby Hearson's Cove is one of the places you can view the staircase to the moon. We spent some time here enjoying the beach and stealing the moon 🌝.
We've had a bit of free time during the day and so I convinced Graham to help me try out some Geocaching. Had a bit of fun and found a couple whilst learning some local history. We also called into the Karratha Gas Plant Visitors Centre.Read more
