At Kathy's suggestion, we made a stop at Dubbo Zoo. We hired bikes and spent the day getting up close to many endangered species and listening to their keepers speak about their habits and challenges.

We spent this evening at the Dubbo Observatory, presented by astronomer Peter Starr, seeing an array of stars, star clusters, constellations, and nebulae through his 9 telescopes.

In another attempt to see some beach we headed to the Sunshine Coast. Unfortunately it didn't live up to it's name but we did come across some acrobatic jet skiers!
Boolboonda Tunnel
