Working in England

This is where I worked for a month. Although I did not have many expectations, I was not dissappointed with the job or the surroundings. While I did make friends, the problem was that I thought many of my colleagues would be internationals and seekers like myself, making a conscious lifestyle choice. On the contrary, the people in my role were brits having their first job, and thus not as eager to explore the areas as in finding their identity and place in the social structure.

In the end, it did not matter - covid happened, and the center closed a few weeks after I left.Read more
