The Brijuni archipelago is a National park just off the coast of the Istria peninsula, near Pula. We visited on a guided tour which included the crossing by boat, a road train tour and entry to all the attractions. The islands have Roman and Byzantine ruins and the architecture has Austria-Hungarian, Venetian and Yugoslav elements due to the area being under different ruling over the years.
