Nice, France

Up early to catch the train from La Spezia to Nice via Genoa. We arrived, checked in at our hostel and met Erica for lunch. I had a yummy Niçoise salad washed down with some rose. We walked down the main street, had a Nespresso and found a water play area. It was packed with kids all loving the water jets. We all tested it out too! There was a drinking fountain with refillable cold sparkling water, which was so delicious that we found our way back there multiple times. We walked along the promenade and found a spot on the pebbled beach. Dane and I had a swim, the water was warm but getting out was particularly painful. We walked and found an interesting wooden playground with lots of giant timber sea creatures. In the old town we enjoyed a cocktail and free tapas. We walked through the streets up to the castle where there were beautiful views over the city. We watched the sunset, looked around the port area and had an icecream in the market precinct.もっと詳しく
