Monterosso beach day

We caught an early train to Monterosso and organised beach chairs and umbrellas for the day. We had coffee, went for many swims, lounged around, read, looked at beautiful pebbles, ate pizza, drunk cocktails and relished the sun's warmth. It was wonderful to be still for a day and enjoy the beautiful beach. We could see the five towns lining the steep coastline. The sun set earlier over the mountain so we headed for an early dinner in town and had a traditional style flat oval shaped pasta with anchovies, fennel and breadcrumbs which was quite delicious!Read more
