Sinharaja Rainforest

Starting the day with a super delicious breakfast gave us the energy to go to a 5-hour-long tour to the Sinharaja Rainforest. 💪🏻

Luckily, we had a very enthusiastic and expert guide called Pali, who told us loads of interesting facts about the forest, animals and plants. 🕷🐒🍃

The best part was when we stopped and swam in a beautiful waterfall! It was so refreshing and amazing, as we were listening to the sounds of nature and felt so free. I'm sure that I will be thinking of that moment, when I have to go back to work. ☺️

That weird thing on the last picture was simply called sandwich by Pali. I was kinda relieved when we found out that we didn't have to eat the leaves, only the stuff between them. 😁 There were some coconut with some honey inside, that we really enjoyed.Read more
